FAQ

Q:  Why should we have a Petting Zoo Party
Most children today have never seen or touched a farm animal, let alone a really cute, miniature
farm animal that is loving, friendly, CLEAN, healthy and their size, small, like they are!

Q.  Do you keep the animals in cages?  How is your zoo set up?
We do not keep our PETS in cages!  We consider them our  friends our pets....they
all have names.....and are treated with respect and kindness....Our animals are free to
walk around, inside the enclosure, say hello to the children etc
...

Q:  What is the difference between a small and large Petting Zoo Party?                 Mainly the number of animals, we also bring more variety within the breeds and add a foal or mini horse.

Q:  What about an Exotic Petting Zoo Party?

That is a large petting Zoo adding exotic animals.

Q.  Can we feed them and hold them?
YES! you can hold them if seated...we do not bring food and discourage feeding, since this is an easy way to get bitten. Fingers and carrots often look alike.  Our animals are sweet and were raised by hand, hand fed, held when they were babies, etc...

Q.  What kind of farm animals do you bring and how many do you bring?
Depending on which size and type of zoo you choose there will be a nice variety of mini-farm
animals to interact with.  You can choose which ones you want or don't want when you submit your
contract to us.  Most zoo's are comprised of an assortment of the following animals:  goats
including Nigerian, African Pygmy,  Bantam ,  Polish, Frissies, Silkies and other chickens, Lion head, Flop eared and Rex Rabbits and baby bunnies (when available). For Exotic Petting Zoos we  also have a large Sulcata Turtle,  Alpacas, a miniature Steer and even a Zebra.

Please note that due to weather, time of year, maternity leave and unforeseen circumstances, that
the animal list is subject to change without prior notice.

Q:  What do you bring, do I need to provide anything for the pony rides and zoo?
A:  We bring it all!

Q.  Where do your animals come from?
All of the animals are our personal family pets with "famous" names!  They live together with us.

Q.  Do you have insurance and are you USDA licensed?
Yes to both!  We are licensed with the USDA   We are also fully insured
for safety.  It is against the law to operate a petting zoo business with out being USDA licensed.

Q.  How much does it cost?
The cost varies depending on the size of the petting farm you require and the length of time.

Q.  What if I find some one else who is CHEAPER?                                                There is always someone who claims to be cheaper. Our Prices are very competitive, we try to give you the best possible price. You get what you pay you for, we have quality animals and book our parties so our ponies and farm animals are not worked to exhaustion. If you have a special situation please contact us and we will try to make adjustments.

.
Q What about saftey and up clean  up?                    We are committed to providing a safe and clean environment for introducing kids and their parents to farm and exotic animals. To that end, we have several policies and procedures in place that are important for any size event.
